Another idea for a vertical city.
This time with a focus on green, the pyramid tower walls are covered in ledges designed to hold on to the outer layer of soil and plants.
At first it will be separate plants, then over time it’ll form a dense layer. Plants are chosen for their natural habitat close to the area of the building they’re planted at.
Daylight comes in through three story high windows, and of course there are green levels with parks.
With the slender pyramid form the buildings can be placed closer together than rectangular without more loss of direct sunlight during most of the day.
The view would be of green spikes coming out of the ground all over the place, at night illuminated by the vertical window lights shining out between the green layer.
